Shaped at a young age by all things nature, Jeanine pursued a career in conservation and a passion for all that resides on the land.

Jeanine and her late husband, John Dinan, shared their love for raptors and all birds. He introduced her to raptor rehabilitation, a cause they were both passionate about. While she continues to rescue and care for injured birds of prey, she caries on the love of raptors that she and her husband shared.

Her life’s work is nature, and you can find her kayaking on the Platte River in Nebraska looking for endangered Least Terns and Piping Plovers, identifying butterflies and bees in her garden, walking her two dogs, or conducting prescribed burns in native woodlands and prairies… giving new life to tired and neglected land.
